𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨 (4⭐️; $37) - Tangy and refreshing base with uber tender wagyu beef cheek.

𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢 (4.5⭐️; $29) - Personal favourite for the umami prawn-mentaiko base, slurpworthy pasta, juicy prawns, and spicy kick.

🍴Calling all chocolate lovers, Paris Baguette has released new Rock ‘n’ Choc items at wallet-friendly prices until end of the October!

𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐤𝐞 ($8.90) - Enjoyable mix of creamy coffee custard cream with airy chocolate sponge. Paired with a brownie layer and rocky road chunks. Personally did find the cream:sponge ratio a tad off.

The 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐧 ($3.20) was deep bittersweet chocolate with a sweeter caramel coating. The 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥 ($3.20) had aromatic cinnamon swirled within. Both buns were fluffy and soft, and loved the topping of fluffy mini marshmallows, crunchy chocolate balls, and mixed nuts and seeds.

𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫 ($2.90) - One for the sweet tooth with caramelised, crispy flattened croissant dipped in dark chocolate sauce.

𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 (3.5⭐️; $18.90) - One for the sweet tooth with caramelised brown sugar brioche paired with caramelised banana, candied pecans, vanilla bean ice cream, and salted caramel. Personally wished for some toning down of sweetness.

@madubakerysg has returned for a limited time only pop up at Clovelly (1-31 August) and you can only imagine how excited we were!

𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭 (4.5⭐️; $20.90) - Giant sized rendition of Madu’s iconic favourite, loaded with juicy sweet prawns, yuzu mayo, and cheddar cheese, with generous dousing of savory and crunchy salted egg cereal bites.

𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙨: Good for sharing as these are big portions! We enjoyed both the fruit-focused red wine poached pear with lemon curd (3.5⭐️; $15) and apple galette (3.5⭐️; $15).

𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞 (4⭐️; $25) - Well-timed tender fish with aromatic and balanced tomato and fennel sauce.

Previously popular for their pastas, Eleven Strands has undergone a menu revamp with an extensive offering of delicious food and desserts.

𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨 (4⭐️; $24) - Richly savory risotto with seafood aroma, paired with crispy fried tentacles.

𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐛 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐡 (4⭐️; $23) - Crisp on the outside and pillowy soft toast packed full of flower crab with sweet mayo, tangy pickled-shallots, juicy umami pops of ikura, and refreshing herb salad.

𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐮𝐦 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐬 (4⭐️; $24) - Delicious sharing plate of fresh, plump, and juicy @ahhuakelong mussels. The homemade Tom yum rempah hit all the right sweet, tangy, savory, and spicy notes. If nitpicking, did wish for the mussels to be better cleaned as several had the beard still attached.

𝐁𝐮𝐚𝐡 𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐤 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐨 (3.5⭐️; $18) - Distinct earthiness and deep buah keluak notes with well-rendered pork belly sandwiched in a crisp bao. Did find it to lean on the richer side and would have preferred for pairing of tangier achar (over the current nuttier rendition) for better balance.

𝐃𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐟𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 (4⭐️; $15) - Delectable sharing bites of moist and buttery financiers paired with creamy and umami chicken liver mousse. Personally found the zesty orange peel to be polarizing, adding a refreshing touch yet detracting from the richer stars.
