Mention in my previous post, A poke theory has always believed in serving the freshest ingredients with interesting flavors to spice your healthy meal.

After waiting for the 20 mins, I can finally get to customize my rice bowl. There are 3 different types of base (Sushi Rice, Lettuce and Quinoa), however, when I was there they were only left with Lemon Herb Quinoa. I have tried quinoa before, but I have not gotten used to the taste as it was blended, however, at a poke theory they actually marinated their quinoa with lemon herb allowing newbies like me to slowly get accustom to the taste. The quinoa was also not to hard to chew and with the lemon it gives a refreshing taste and also wanting me to eat more.Â

Next was the super food, I am totally a sucker for salmon and mixed it with spicy mayo. The Salmon was fresh and firm and with the addition of the spicy mayo it give a tangly taste! *TAKE MY MONEY*

Finally to spice up everything, it's the toppings! There is a range varieties for you to choose from, from fresh sweet fruits to special condiments like kale chips and spiced roasted cashew. Let's not forget the range of homemade sauces for you to add for FREE!Â

Overall It was a good healthy meal! I hope A Poke theory would come out with more choices to spice up my healthy bowl!

Time to eat clean since I have been devouring too many street foods in the land of thousand smiles. Yes, I am back to flood your Instagram feed! Well some one have been flooding my Instagram feed even before I flew.

A poke theory delivers to us the concept of healthy eating (rice bowl and smoothie) with the freshly made in house ingredients. When I was there, everything was almost sold out, but luckily they have already cooked another batch of quinoa as such I tried their dessert first.

Thinking the weather would be better in SG, so I guess this help in cooling me down. The base is made out of Banana, raw Maca (roots), soy milk. I am not a huge banana made food other than the banana itself. Surprisingly, the sweetness of the banana is not overpowering. Topping up with Coconut & dark chocolate drizzle, pomegranate, dark chocolate shavings, roasted cashews. The pomegranates was another add on point, it was naturally sweet and crunchy. The smoothie gives off a smooth, nutty and earthy aftertaste.

Overall the smoothie was great even for a non-banana fan. Do take note to arrive early as things get sold out fast here. I did not manage to try other flavors as they were all sold out when I reached there.
