I love thunder tea rice!! This is a good one, not outstanding or special but as with the other thunder tea rice Iāve tried in Singapore, itās balanced and fresh and delicious. They have a ramen version too!
Totally makes up for the CNY feasting š loved the chia pudding bottom but I would have preferred the aƧai less icy
This bowl has 3 layers: pitaya (red dragonfruit), acai, and matcha chia pudding. The Chia pudding adds a great texture to the acai bowl, and I love that the aƧai isnāt overly sweet and tastes really natural. Youāre not gonna taste much of the matcha, but thatās cause they didnāt want the 3 flavours to clash.
If youāre not a fan of nuts, make sure to let them know because this comes topped with a lot of nuts!!
Loved this!!! If vegan options like this were more readily available I would 100% be vegan. The soy patty was really good, I liked that it was savoury without trying to be meat (vegetarian food that tries to be meat is no go š«) also really liked the vegan mayo!!
My go-to place for salad because I feel like for the portion, cooked food options and general quality, daily cut is one of the more value-for-money salad options. BUT I think they reduced their portions quite substantially šš
Haven't had many thunder tea rice(s?) so I'm not the best judge but I think this was balanced both in taste and texture. The small is pretty big already so idk how big the 'normal' ($7) would be š
I know most people don't give their time of the day to the vegan underdogs of the burger world but don't underestimate the burgers from veganburg!! Smothered with guacamole, pico de gallo, and shredded vegan cheese (tasted 100% like the real thing), the el verde is a guilt-free burger that just hits all the right spots. It can't compete with regular burgers in the traditional juicy patty melty cheese sense, but it's truly on a league of it's own.
Pretty wide range of ingredients to choose from and the portion is quite generous!! Also, the falafel is really tasty (love the strong cumin flavor) but kinda dry. Toss and turn is still my fav salad place but I think this comes a pretty close second.
Refreshing salad chockful of juicy pomegranate seeds and dragonfruit. They really nailed the combination of flavors in this salad, and the sweet, slightly tart dressing brought it all together. We thought it was abit expensive for something we could kinda recreate at home (haha) but the quality ingredients are expensive so that mostly justifies the price.
Assorted vegetables on a nut-based pizza crust - definitely not your conventional pizza š really appreciate the creativity and thought put into playing up raw food but I'm not sure this would appeal to meat-eaters~ the crust has a cheesy flavor (nutritional yeast maybe?) that really adds a great dimension to the otherwise mainly green pizza!! And presentation is ace š
Actually really liked this! If you're a fan of chai and beetroot, this will be right up your alley šš¼ otherwise beetroot haters should steer clear because the earthy taste is quite strong.
The Wholefood Kitchen is my go-to place for a healthy food fix!! Love how they make healthy food taste so darn good. The cashews in this dish gave it some texture and the tofu is seasoned so well!! And it felt like it was prepared with love HAHA maybe because it's such a wholesome meal or maybe because the owner is so friendly~
