Places For Dinner
Heard a lot of hype abt this and went to try it. But it was disappointing. The rice was really gooey and all mashed up... and it was just not tasty in general. The beef didnt have any beef taste too. I wouldnt go again.
New thai joint... came here with friends. Service was friendly and food is reasonably priced. Must try:
- fried chicken skin
- thai sausages
- red ruby + coconut ice cream dessert
Good for lunch or dinner.
KIDS FRIENDLY TOO!!
Simple dish. The cheese was yums. The beef patty was done perfectly. It was quite a boring dish though... I did hesitate before ordering, wondering if I would be content with this as a Sunday brunch.. Oh well, next time I'll order soemthing more exciting. If you like cheeseburgers, try this!
This was a recommended dish. The mashed potatoes were nice but the beef is so tough. What a huge disappointment.
First time here. Came with a big group and between all of us, we tried ALL their donburis. You can the rest a miss but do try the one with the US short rib beef, truffles and foie gras donburi. That's the only one worth your time. And eat their makis. But they have A LOT to improve on. They had baby chairs but no baby utensils..? They ran out of oysters and they dont have wasabi - not even for their raw chopped tuna donburi. Their tables smell really bad :(. They really should use a table cloth or use a stronger detergent to wash away the odour.
A definite must try at Burnt Ends which is slowly recovering to a somewhat good reputation in my memory. And no I'm not a convert yet… but if you gimme a plate full of beef marmalade and a stash of these bite-sized crunchy & creamy biscuits, then I might give the place a thumbs up. Maybe. 😏
