Don't ask me how to pronounce this - I am clueless myself. Being a huge eggplant lover, my sister was a happy camper with this dish. Their chargrilled eggplant didn't turn bitter despite the grilling, remaining moist on the inside, and went perfectly with their sauce, mushrooms, caramelised onions and haloumi. It's like a vegetarian steak, but with a completely new texture that just makes you keep wanting more of everything. The sister highly approves! 😏👍🏻
After hearing me constantly rave over Artichoke, my sister had high hopes coming here with me to eat. (She's the pickiest eater.) And trust me, she didn't even bother talking to me throughout lunch, because she was too busy eating her food. What amazes me always is how Artichoke takes such simple vegetables like this cauliflower, and completely transforms it to a whole new level of yum and satisfying. It makes you eat vegetables without thinking you're eating vegetables - you feel me? And they balance the flavours so well, that you will happily mop up everything (with their delicious pita bread) and luxuriate in every final bite. I swear - if my parents had brought me here when I was five, I think I'd actually enjoy eating vegetables. Typing this has made me hungry again. Help. 😂
I know this may sound really weird, but this sandwich was juicy, wet and sloppy but an absolute delight to eat! The best part is simply receiving this piping hot and devouring it immediately upon arrival to your table. Didn't even have time to take a decent photo because I was so excited to eat this hahaha.
Think: mind blowingly delicious sandwiches. I do not kid. Every single flavour was spot on and absolutely delightful. I absolutely loved the Vegetarian Sub, which was nothing like your stereotypical vegetarian food which gets such a bad rep for being 'tasteless'. This sub was dripping wet in sauce, slathered in cheese and guac, whilst encasing two well fried eggs and coleslaw which was nothing short of sublime. Wouldn't mind travelling to CBD again just for this.
If you see anyone stealing the truffle fries, it was not my brother being a hand model for me. It was him being greedy and deciding to steal food before I could even take a picture. (To be honest, I took some too hehe.) The pungent whiff of truffle was too alluring to resist. Eggs Benedict managed to flow when cut through, but has a bit too steep of a price I'm willing to pay for. Waffles were average, but the apricot ice cream was certainly an interesting flavour compared to your regular Matcha/Red Velvet/Caramel waffles. Needless to say, my favourite was the truffle fries!
I had to get magic mushrooms the name just cracked me up too much!! On the bright side they were flavourful, juicy and super crispy on the outside with their really yummy sauce hidden at the bottom of the plate. There was heaps of sauce - they are that generous! The shave prosciutto dish wasn't very stellar tho - quite ordinary.
Beautifully sous de vide eggs sitting atop of smoked fresh salmon and warm toasty bagels. The eggs were so beautifully runny that eating it on a bagel was really too messy. All the eggs just wanted to escape into the bagel hole! Couldn't taste the cheese in the bagel or hollandaise sauce (which was stated in their menu) tho. Also it's a relatively smaller portion as compared to regular cafes!
Smashed avocado topped with pomelo and almonds with homemade ricotta, all my fav healthy fats in one dish! Absolutely in love with this homemade ricotta. It's not overly cheesy, but instead light and fragrant, and almost even mildly sweet. Didn't expect myself to like the ricotta that much - now I want to buy some and take it home.
I forgot the name for this dish, but it bad beautiful red-pink salmon (possibly from the beetroot as dye?) Personally I thought the portions here for main courses weren't very generous, there was very little quinoa and salmon, plus the veggies were drowned in their dressing it felt overwhelming. Couldn't taste the olive dust either :(
My friends kept commenting how this was their favourite dish, because of how well done the meatballs were and combined with the truffle hash and egg it was extremely flavourful. I tried the truffle hash and my only gripe is I wish they had more!
Super disappointing since it was overly drying (maybe too much salt), soggy (way too much oil) which made eating it almost impossible for me. Wouldn't order this again, and the truffle isn't very strong either. :(
Forgot what the pasta dish was (my friends ordered it) but they said it was okay, but the portions were really big. One friend felt it was the best dish, while my other friend and I agreed that the Mac and Cheese stole our hearts.

Huge sweet-tooth, and yes - I do attempt to eat dessert for every meal.
