We came across this stall selling crocodile meat. And they displayed the whole crocodile head at the stall.

Located at the taoyuan high speed railway station. I ordered the spicy ramen and spiciness level 2. It was good and filling for dinner. Around 150 twd.

This are giant mushrooms and are sold by cooking or frying them and cut into bite sized pieces. Both versions are really good. The mushrooms have alot of flavours and very juicy. Awesome. Around 50 twd for one packet.

Laowu pension is located at nantou around central taiwan. It is a top homestay in my opinion after experiencing it in taiwan. Really love the bed rooms and the service provided. Breakfast is included as it is bed and breakfast format. For breakfast they have home made jams they i have never heard before. Like jams made from plants. As seen on the picture the size of the mantou is huge. That was what they served. Specialized mantous and comes in different flavours like sesame and nuts.

We went to nantou and stayed at a minsu called laowu pension. Minsu is homestay. As part of the stay they brought us to a grape vine. You can pluck your own grapes at a cost around s$20 or less. The grapes are really top quality like you are tasting wine just by eating the grapes. You can check out this website if anyone is interested in staying in homestay. It is a top notched homestay. http://www.excellentpension.com.tw/content.php?page=&top_id=2&area_id=&id=17

This is quite famous i think because of the long queue. Take the taipei mrt to the end of station on the red line and alight at a station called tamsui. When u come down walk a short distance is the old street already. This stall is located right at the mouth of the old street. Near the starbucks. They have three flavours: custard, red bean and something like salted cai poh. Custard is really good and the pancake is seriously filled with a large portion of custard. Realy good and is hot as well. Reminds you of the jollibean pancake in sg but is way better hundred times. Price is three for 50 twd.

This is really famous and can be found at every night market in taiwan. Diced beef and torched. Very tender and filled with awesomeness. If you like beef you have to try this. Some stalls allows you to add chilli powder or others as well. Around 60twd for 1 portion.

My family and i went to take a private boat and toured the sun moon lake. We docked at a place where the tour guide said that the tea egg is very good. It is called ah ma tea egg. When you docked and alight from the boat you can already smell the frangrance of the tea egg far away. It comes piping hot. But is super nice and herbally taste. I think we bought 11 eggs at 100+ twd. So is around s$5 total.

Taken at Jiufen street market. Very good taiwanese sausages. They also provide small cloves of garlic to bite on with the sausages. Big sized sausages are at around twd 60, s$ 3. Jiufen is located one hour away from taipei and you can take public bus there or taxi. Jiufen is recommended to go there for a day trip when you are in taiwan. It is a old street with many old fashioned houses.

This is located at sogo at songxiao fuxing. Can be found at the food court. The food court is at the basement 1 of the sogo departmental store. The whole plate is really huge and you will be so full after that. It cost around s$10. Very worth it.

So who doesnt go to taipei and eat this mee sua. Apparently it is the best. And yes indeed it is. Very good mee sua. Inside has pig intestines. Comes in two sizes small and big. Small costs around twd50, S$2+ and big is twd 60, s$3+. Must try when you go to ximending for shopping.
