Fresh thick cubes of sashimi. The set menu was great! An affordable $25 for this rice bowl, salad, miso soup and fruits.
My favourite sushi of them all. The lush and freshness of the spanish mackerel was simply breathtaking. We had the lunch menu of 10 sushi, inclusive of miso soup, appetiser and dessert. Service experience was nothing to shout about, but the quality of the seafood was top notch.
The usual ramen places that I have been serve noodles that are similar to maggi Mee texture. (Curly and springy). However, Ikkousha's is somewhat like the Chinese La Mian, seems more homemade. Overall it was alright, but not fantastic due to the smell permeated from the bamboo shoots into the ramen soup.
Irresistible. $39 for the Fat Cow Donburi lunch set that comes with salad, chawanmushi and dessert.
The best! $49 for this premium Chirashi don which came with:
2 x Aburi Otoro
3 x Aburi Salmon Belly
3 x Salmon
3 x Maguro
3 x Shiro Maguro
3 x Hotate
3 x Yellowtail
2 x Tamago
1 x Botan Ebi
Dollops of Uni and Ikura
Pleasing to the eye. About half the price of Fat Cow, and satisfaction also halved. Just an average dish but the bar makes it a pretty nice place to chill out after a long day at work.
This Shiok Maki- to the most extreme of mainstream. But, it's seriously worth the wait, worth the try and worth the money. If you love torched sushi with the infamous mentai (cod roe mayo) sauce, please order and enjoy every bite of it.
Sinful, heart stopping but tastes too good to be missed.
Mouthfuls of goodness in every scoop. Ingredients are fresh, made of a good variety of sashimi and lunch time is always the best so as to not burn your pockets. Bookings about 2 weeks in advance are necessary or you will be disappointed considering how extremely popular this place is.
