All Day Brunch

Can't believe that this simple looking dish could deliver so much satisfaction! Ok, so maybe the fact that it includes caramelised bacon already makes it a winner… but the chefs even go into the detail of using specifically Demerara brown sugar to caramelise the bacon!
Layer that with spicy tomato jam and cream cheese then top it off with a sunny side up egg all sitting nicely in a grilled naan roll… they call this a prescription for hangovers that will comfort all your troubles away. 🙌🏻 I would totally have to agree with that. Eat it all away~

Sweet sugar-cured bacon was probably the most favourite thing on my plate, even though it doesn't come anywhere near my favourite candied bacon at OMC. 2nd favourite was the sunny side up eggs with runny yolk. Well one runny yolk—the other was overcooked. 😑
Apart from that, the cheese grits was pretty weird. Like some sort of fine rice and cheese mix. Looked like puke on the plate and maybe that thought just threw it off for me. It was kinda cheesy, kinda textured—but not something I'd go looking to order again. Polenta bars would've been nice instead. The fried green tomatoes weren't to my liking either although I do love tomatoes and sourish pickled things, but maybe my dislike for crumbed and fried foods just put me off this combination.
The sweet potato fries aren't much to rave about either. To me they had a sourish taste and weren't crisp on the outside. I'm now craving plump, crispy sweet potato fries from Shihlin Street Snacks. 🙊
But all in all it was a good meal thanks to my company, who I'm grateful for always making sure I eat properly, at least when we're dining together. 😘 @christinelyh

Not too shabby a meal and definitely feeds more than me. Don't know how people manage to finish these pancakes by themselves. Gluten-overload.

Crab Patty, "Ngoh Hiang" Chicken and Classic Beef Burger served with Fries.

Crab patties were ok, but a little too overwhelming with so many fried items on the plate. Would have preferred it to be served with a side of salad instead of the hash brown which was a little dry. Can't go wrong with the runny yolk though.
