Chirashi Dons
One of the most instagrammed items from Emporium Shokuhin, the Giant Chirashi Don ($34). It's not that hard to understand why! Most tables had one on them. It's generously topped with ikura and fresh cubes of salmon, tamago, cucumber, tuna and etc., all on top of seaweed and a bed of sushi rice. Just look at that happy looking colorful bowl! Sashimi were lightly marinated and tasted nice, though we would have appreciated some freshly grated wasabi. The don feeds 2 pax very well!
However, fret not! The signature thick fresh sashimi in their Chirashi Don are still available! Prices remain pocket friendly with the basic Chirashi at $25!
Decided to treat myself to the Chirashi Kou ($35) - almost the same as the basic one but with slightly more premium ingredients such as Hotate, Chutoro, Unagi and Amaebi from Tsukiji Fish Market!
Hearty bento featuring fresh sashimi, vegetable tempura & grilled salmon
Thick cuts of sashimi for only $16, pretty good value!
Though tonkichi is popular for its tonkatsu, the chirashi is definitely worth a shot! Good value at $25
Thick slices of fresh sashimi - sushi bar never disappoints!!
Pretty out of the way but decently priced option! Pickles added an interesting touch! ($19)
