Sawadeekaa! Affordable Thai food nearby my vicinity! So much food ordered but it was just $37 bucks! š mega love the stirred fried beef with basil leaves ($8) and also the pineapple fried rice ($6). The punch of spice was worth it!
Around town around 9pm, still have no dinner and craving for steamboat or mookata? Make your way down to Jalan Besar for Thai Mookata at Huay Kwang Thai Kitchen! The art of Mookata is to cook all the meat on the grill, allowing the flavor drip into the soup. The soup was great. However, the way they slice their meat was inconsistent (some are thick, some are thin, some are not even sliced). It's quite inaccessible without a car. $104 for 5 pax!
Spicy papaya salad with salted egg $12.90. Nothing can go wrong with salted egg dishes. This was a pleasant surprise as I've never tasted papaya salad with salted egg before, it's so appetizing & refreshing at the same time! A little too spicy for me that I kept reaching out for my Cha Yen (Iced Milk Tea) but those who can take spice, this is game for you!
