I had to grab a quick lunch in between yoga classes today. With DBS Fastrack, I was in and out of Marina Bay Link Mall within minutes as I picked up my orders. I had my usual Standard Nalu Bowl ($15.9) with the original & spicy salmon (I love the freshness and generous amount of sashimi here!) from Aloha Poke, paired with Old Tea Hut's Lime Tea ($1.9 — you can customize your ice/sugar level on the app). Lunch can be made a little more hassle free, even in the bustling Central Business District! #DBSFasTrack
Create your very own pretty bowl of lunch with 1 Grain, 1 Protein, 1 Hot Veggie, 2 Cold Veggies, 1 Sauce and 1 Topping. You should have a rough idea of what you want, otherwise you'll be dumbfounded with that array of ingredients greeting you at their counter! I had the striploin steak with soba noodles, topped with furikake corn, wafu tomatoes, apple kimchi, seeds mix and miso caramel sauce. I enjoyed every single component of this bowl except that I couldn't really pair my sauce with it but that didn't matter when the ingredients each excelled in their own ways!
Missed out on the opening special of 50% off Wafuken's dons but managed to catch their 30% off salmon dons today (and tmr!). Sous vide salmon was very well done as it retains the juiciness of the fish and was not over cooked! Brown rice tossed with furikake was slightly on the dry side though.
Feeling like a zebra today with 6 mains + 2 supplementary feeds. Pre-Taipei stomach cleansing LOL
