Very pricey local fare improvisation. This bowl was too huge for my consumption so it's best to be shared by 2. I'll be back to try it's coffee and cakes.

Celebrating national day together with the family by having lunch at Chin Lee Restaurant (深利美食管). Order few of their signature dishes such as Fried Chicken with crispy garlic, Homemade Tofu with minced meat, Coffee Pork Ribs, Hei Zhou (prawn rolls) and etc. Love their prawn rolls which packed with crunch of ingredients as well as the yummy caramelised coffee ribs . #cuisineparadiseeatout #burpple #sgfood #8dayseat #foodblogger

Another alternative for Asian food with a twist! Flavor was on point with the Mee Tai Mak fully absorbing the dark soy sauce and XO sauce. Fire was well controlled with some chewiness to the Mee Tai Mak and no trace of mushiness. Not only that, surprisingly the daunting pungent taste from the usual century egg became mild or almost absent after the deep frying. Quite a simple dish but filled with flavors of home.

Sauce ($16). The sauce had quite a nice flavour and came topped with century egg. It was definitely lacking in wok hei though, which probably proves that dishes like these are best enjoyed in hawker centers/coffee shops. #burpple #chinese #fusion

Tried their Moonlight Truffle Beef Hor Fun and Spinach Bean Curd which both tasted great. 😍😍😍 PS: Don't forget to take some free fortune cookies. 😂

charred, shiny and caramelised on the outside, tender and juicy inside. sweet and savoury with the right balance of fat layers melting in your mouth.

Crispy on the outside, soft & creamy on the inside! Coated w just the right amount of salted egg yolk (that doesn't make you feel like you'll get a sore throat after) sauce, this dish makes a really good appetizer to kick start your mea! 👍🏻👍🏻
