Sounds funky, looks funky, but tastes awesome. This UFO-shaped Appom is basically made up of a rice flour/dough-like substance with a fluffy interior surrounded by a crispy disc. The white dough is slightly chewy though but it is still nice. Amazing combination with the orange indian sugar. And love the price too ^^

To me, this is the best Butter Chicken Masala that I have had, even compared to the ones I had in Dubai. There is a smokiness to the 'merah' sauce, which is even more apparent in the chicken tikka, that makes the dish super delectable. This dish goes best with a piece of Naan, and I find that this pairing of Naan + Butter Chicken here at Al Azhar is the best I've tasted.

NUS students' most popular supper venue! Usually most people love the Naan and Butter Chicken but this time I went for the the Fried Rice!
The rice was slightly soggy and could afford to be slightly more dry. The fried chicken on the other hand was a little two dry. Basically it didn't taste fresh. Had a piece of garlic naan after this which was much better. I think I'd better stick to that in the future.

"I love eating. But I hate getting fat. I love eating. But I only want to eat the best. I love eating. But I'm reluctant to spend too much." The above are a few paradoxes that describe my love-hate relationship with food. Yet at the same time they define my principles for choosing the places which I love to eat: 1) Hearty 2) Tasty 3) Worthy (of my money)
