Out of the three flavours available for soft serve ice creams, it was a hard fight between this and Goldilocks! A generous serving of cheesecake (which was crumbly and moist), strawberries (juicy and sweet but not overwhelmingly so) and toasted marshmallows, everything went perfectly. The Smoreos flavour may be the most popular but sometimes it gets a bit jelat. Also perhaps sharing this would be best unless you are a champion eater!

At $17 for Shibuya Toast and double scoops of ice cream, it's certainly pricy. But I would say this is one of the better Shibuya Toasts I've had in Singapore, crisp at the edges and perfectly buttered. Was not a huge fan of the Oreos and marshmallows though, fruits would probably taste better. Ice cream was creamy and not too sweet as well. I will be back to try the lava toast!

Two of my favourites in one dish, what's not to love about it. Matcha lava cookie with a scoop of Speculoos ice cream ($8.50), both instagrammable and delicious. The cookie was chewy and soft, and went very well with the cinnamon crumble. Would eat ten of this (or not, but I wish I could)

🍞 We had the rocher toast which comes with chocolates, hazelnut waffle biscuits, fudge sauce and scoops of vanilla ice cream.
Nicely buttered toast with a crisp exterior and soft within. The amount of butter was just nice for me while some may like it more. Anyway, congrats on your opening @shiberty! 🍰

To the naysayers who moan about bingsu just being glorified (and overpriced) ice kachang, I say be silent unless you've already tried it. Powdery, milky snow with different textures - soybean flour, chewy mochi, and nuts, I can see why the Injeolmi is a classic favourite.

I was really disappointed at first because when I cut into the cake there was no oozing whatsoever, and I felt the portion was a tad small for the price we paid. But after I took that first bite my complaints were silenced. Cake was done perfectly, not too mushy or gelat. I do wish the inside had been more flowy, but taste wise I have no complaints, not overly sweet and I could taste the matcha 👍🏻 they have Thai Tea and red velvet flavours too, I'll definitely be back to try them next time. (P.S, really liked that when we sat down they served us a welcome tea cup of tom yum soup - just what we needed to warm us up!)

Formerly known as Benjamin Browns, newly-revamped bistro concept The Benjamins makes a splashy (re)entrance with the launch of their Over The Top Shakes ($16) — absolutely massive milkshakes topped with everything from the kitchen sink to your mother. Current flavours include Caramel Crunch, Nutella Banana and Tim Tams, but we say go for the creamy and fragrant Coffee Avocado, which is probably the most restrained of the bunch!

Soybean flour flavored Patbingsoo so I can trick myself into thinking I'm eating something healthy. It's $12.90 for the big bowl and $4.90 for the one person's serving. But I figure go big or go home, besides the bigger bowl comes with a small jug of milk you can drizzle over. The mochi bits add a wonderful chewy texture and the ice is like fine milky snow. Definitely not glorified ice kachang!

Known for their chococro (chocolate croissants), what I love is their green tea latte. Super smooth with a strong hint of matcha, it's silky and goes down easily. We also had the soft serve ice cream with warabi mochi, green tea ice cream and azuki ($8.20). The serving doesn't seem like much at first it's actually enough for two people. Thought the azuki was too sweet but I really loved the soft serve and mochi :)

I waned the matcha cube loaf, but it was sold out by the time I reached (around 830pm) so I settled for the chocolate croissant instead! I thought the drinks and pastries were really good, and they had excellent service too. Bonus: the tables are white so they make for pretty instaworthy photos 😊

Found a new favourite cake place! Paddlepop and red velvet cakes were good and reasonably priced. Super moist cakes and the cream wasn't too heavy or fatty tasting. They also have a wide variety of hot teas that go very well with the cakes, and they top up the hot water for you :)
