Best Pancakes In Singapore
After an almost decade long hiatus from my default carb when I was younger, we randomly stumble upon Gram on a Sunday afternoon for a tea time treat.
I’ve had many pancakes in the past and these are right where good pancakes sit. The normal flat stacks are already great on its own with good complements like fresh cream that we polished.
If you want a higher protein content variant, go for the premium soufflé stack which is interestingly lighter on the palate and delicious.
No wonder these Japanese pancake houses were in vogue when they first arrived on shore our little red dot, Gram has proved their worth.

I had ricotta pancakes 2 weekends in a role for brunch; one was starkly better than the other, which I’ll leave it to you to figure out? Just Kidding.. here with the clue I’m about to give: the superior came at twice the cost without burpplebeyond 😬 why would I differentiate them as so? The better rendition I could taste of ricotta and was cooked very generously in decadent butter; a comfort to the belly, indulgence on the palate.

I am only a millennial who is drawn to food fads like soufflé pancakes only that I find myself months or even a year late? On a quest to find the best soufflé pancakes around and the ones at 19tea are so soft that they disintegrate on the palate without the need to chew. They feature the eggs used in the batter fairly prominently, and are relatively affordable.
I was happy to find my cream cheese melting perfectly on the cast iron skillet to sparsely soak the chewy pancake. A chewy variant in the middle (I must repeat) which required the help of maple syrup and the other 2 condiments, this pancake vaguely reminded me of Chinese omelette only at its crisp circumference.
Something good enough to order again, only if I craved for a sweet, affordable, carb breakfast dish.
Holidays mean treatyoself?? #1
Belle ville was on my wish list for far too long and thankfully the eggy thin pancake stacks that disintegrated easily were a pure joy. First proper recollection of Japanese styled pancakes and I personally enjoyed it ✨
Reminded me of McDonald’s hot cakes only with pandan flavouring. I’d get 2 slices of cakes instead for the same price; the peanut butter cheesecake we had was good.
Oh look at the resplendent thick golden brown pancake stack that spent a good 20 minutes sitting in the oven (as the cafe personnel educated us). Emblazoned by classic ingredients of berries compote or the more indulgent version of butterscotch bananas, vanilla ice cream; both were excellent examples of good brunch pancakes.
Definitely a signature here at Atlas, that keeps the crowd coming back for more (as I observe while waiting for our table given it was a P.H.).

Remember my first strictly pancakes experience during JC days and in a flash of 5 years the establishment will bid its goodbye on the 28th June (last day of operations).
Came here to witness a full house, thankfully I made reservations. Despite that we had to wait awhile for these pancakes but it was bearable especially because of my dining companion I haven’t met in awhile.
I will remember strictly for their interesting take(s) on savoury pancakes and comforting sweet ones. While the consistency of my favourite food here varies, their variety have always appealed to me and I genuinely hope to see something from them in the future.
If you'd allow me to be seen as a pancake aficionado; this was a no brainer classic combination of berries (raspberries, strawberries, blackberries) and vanilla ice cream on a hot off the pan-pancake with ricotta nuggets.
Better pancakes in Singapore? For sure.
Not sure it's a "fortunate" error or intentional but the charred rims of the pancake added a nice crisp to the browned bed.
