(I believe this picture won't have much likes but this is the best dish I ever tried)

Once we sat on the table, they served us with a big bowl of rice (free flow). Even though their rice had a texture of clay, their food was so good that we could finish a few bowl of clay.

The texture was so "soothing". Easy to eat and heavily flavored. This was what I called the ultimate comfort food!

Nowadays it is very difficult to find a family oriented restaurant. It is even more rare to find a restaurant in Malaysia which has a Non-Halal sign (they actually hang a picture of a pig). Located at the 1 Utama Shopping Centre, easily accessible. Air Con and clean. Serving unbelievably good food.

The sweetness from the coconut water brought a balance to the sour and spicy Tom Yum. Even though it was very spicy, it was very smooth to the palate.
An very affordable restaurant which served very delicious comfort food. We ordered prawn, fish, clam, wing and pork and paid under 350RM.

After the son took over the business, they expanded to many other branches even to Singapore. More opportunities to taste them but sadly the sons didn't master the skills from their dad. (Regret that I didn't use flash)

I loved the fact that they used the chop with bone and generous with the thickness. Pork Chop with bone will always be my favorite. The flavorful, sweet meat close to the bone is the best.
The sad part was that they overcooked the meat and broccoli.

Their dark exterior made them almost impossible to spot.

We skipped all the main stream cafes and looked for the hidden cafes.
Located at the sport stadium, hiding from the main road. Jam & Kaya was the combination of the names of the two owners.
No kaya was served but very health food. Their food was pretty interesting but need some refining.
They provided a wider range of food choice over the weekends. Do give them a try.
