Nice Restaurants To Check Out!

This is really very impressive. Coconut sorbet, coconut jelly, young coconut flesh, grated coconut, avocado, avocado espuma and lime zest!! Ohhhh! It's soooo refreshing! They're doing something like this during the Restaurant week this month!

Steamed banana cake, caramelized banana, ginger crumble with gula melaka ice cream. Oh by the way, all the ice creams are made in house! This is my first time having STEAMED banana cake! So awesome! Everything on this plate just complement each other. Everything is done so perfectly!

Rich and earthy ice cream, made with 80% Valrhona chocolate. On a bed of salted caramel, chocolate crumble & chilli specks, topped with warm milk chocolate espuma! It's so intriguing to the taste buds!!

Signature coconut pudding, gula melaka sauce with pandan jelly. This is good!!! The way they made the pudding reminds me of panna cotta. One major thing to take while making pudding is to catch the right texture! It cannot be too solid or too watery. The way candlenut does this coconut pudding is just perfect!

Tender pork belly braised in fragrant preserved soy beans gravy topped with chillis. Pork belly is not too fattening and it's very tender. Very nice!!

This dish is really very spicy! But it's super nice!!! Squid is fried just nice, not overcooked!

Sour & spicy sauce with pomfret fillet with baby lady's fingers, tomatoes and eggplant.

A refreshing salad of wing beans with prawns, crispy fish, shallots, lemongrass, chilli, cashew nuts, mint, coriander with lime dressing. Wah! When we had this, we literally went: "wow!" It's so refreshing!

Beef gold shin in dry aromatic coconut curry with kaffir leaves and roasted coconut! This is superbly delicious!!! The paste is so flavorful! Beef was very tender! Love this so much!

Crispy beancurd roll stuffed with minced pork and prawns, chestnut and mushrooms! Very nice and flavorful! We had to order two of this!

It's so huge! $36 for this! :)

Oh yes, of cos with the lava effect. Hahaha!! This is one of the best. The price is doubled or thrice compared to most bakery shop. Curious how much this dessert cost? $30! But we had it for free! Be very envious!
