Food With Heart
I never really got the hype about Tian Tian. I'm like "it's just chicken rice right?". It's just chicken rice, they said. You really have to taste it to know the difference. It's not just chicken rice anymore. It's Tian Tian chicken rice. The fragrance of the rice is ... HOME-MADE. It's not just the fragrance but the taste of it ... It doesn't give you the MSG effect of most rice out there? You can taste the unadulterated stock and best of all, they serve a fresh hot piping bowl on your plate so you thoroughly enjoy the meal. And can I say, the chicken breast is my most hated part of the chicken but Tian Tian makes their meat so flaky and succulent in the truest sense of the word, I am a convert. Top everything with a tangy chili sauce and your life is complete.
InITALY has one of the most authentic squid ink pastas in +65. Fragrant, and undeniably delicious.
The salmon aburi here certainly beats the aburi at Wisma Atria. For one, this roll's more affordable. For two, you taste more of the salmon and its chargrilled fragrance compared to WA's cream/cheese-ness.
Sake, sake belly and ootoro.
You can choose from a selection of 5 vegetables, 1 meat/seafood and a dressing. I picked romaine lettuce, garlic prawns, corn kernels, sundried tomatoes, French beans, fuscilli, orange vinaigrette

Run by a family of 5 brothers, this stall has been here for quite a number of years having passed from the hands of generations. The one unique thing about this stall is that they serve nothing else but a bowl of fixed ingredients - no carbs. They start business daily from 12pm depending and they finish by 4pm or when the food runs out.
