🛫 Malaysia Boleh!
Singapore’s coffee house - CCSH has popped up across the causeway, but with a space that is both aesthetically pleasing, and smelling.
Coffee beans are being roasted daily, and you’d be able to get the usual suspects - Throwback and Nuts and Bolts, available both as beans to go or in the hopper for your daily cuppa.
They also have a range of filter brew and daily brew that you can choose from and we were pleasantly surprised and happy with our choices.
Didn’t get a chance to get brunch, but it seems like a hit among the locals, and tourists alike based on the crowd we saw on a Sunday morning.
Always start your day with coffee, cause if you don’t, I don’t know what else jolts you awake the way caffeine does.
@vcrlovesyou’s Cold Brew does just that without being too overbearing especially for those who are not used to non-milk based coffees. •

Making this a pit stop whenever one travels to KL is definitely a must!
The legendary Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee is an unrivaled star in the noodle & chilli world ⭐️
Choose your choice of poison by either eating it plain, or scoop as much chilli into your bowl as you’d like.
We had a go with 3 spoonfuls as recommended by @jiaknonstop & boy, THIS BOWL IS ON FIRE 🔥
I love my chilli & noodles, and this satisfies all your cravings in a bowl full.
Can someone transport me right now for more of this?

It’s a rainy morning but nothing’s gonna stop us from another day of feasting!
Starting the day at Lai Foong with their Penang Char Kway Teow(RM6.50) which comes with a whole lot of wokhei, cockles & beansprouts. •

The heart of Damansara Uptown's Nara has always been healthy dishes with a subtle Asian inflection, and the recently-added goods on the menu stay true to that core. Our favourite new suspect is the Scotch Eggs (RM29) — parmesan-crusted boiled eggs wrapped in minced chicken. Savour it with the compelling combination of crispy noodle nest, hummus and chickpea ratatouille on the side. The Chicken Mantao Sliders (RM33) may verge on the brink of an overrated idea, but this version is out to impress with well-marinated fried chicken, punch-packed kimchi mayo and plum jam. From the sides section, a Lobster Freakin' Poutine (RM33) deserves to take centrestage. Tuck into this sauce-laden snack that merges rich lobster flavours with crispy shoestring fries — and look out for the surprise bites of lobster flesh! The quiet locale has always been a great place to catch up with a close friend, and now you can do it again over new eats.
Avg price per person: RM45
Don't think any lesser of it being just eggs! Duck eggs are fattier, which then helps with the shiokness of each plate of CKT & bringing out much for flavor!
Just look at that plump prawns that came together in such a small plate, definitely worth the 30 minutes wait!
Something different from the usual coconut based laksa that we have here in Singapore, the Penang Laksa has it sour yet spicy punch from the Assam with sardine bits & fresh onions to give it an additional crunch! Rated as one of the best in the area, walking all the way to this little eatery definitely made it worth it!
As simple as this looks, the owner of this store definitely takes pride in such a simple dish! With a broth that took him an entire day to boil & not compromising on flavor (that some do with MSG), it was THE dish that my entire family loved! Thick pork broth, which the uncle said that he used pork trotters rather than pork shoulders, cause it ain't as sweet but richer in flavor, we cleared this bowl within seconds! Too bad it was the last bowl for the day as the uncle usually sells out by 1pm, talk about good business!
Rich chocolatey flavors with an oozy lava cake & a mild cold crew with a Choco finish as well. I love Monday off days.
Essentially a sour froyo-esque chocolate soft serve with cheesecake jellies that nudges and twitches your little bells at best.
Founded by Jane Chuck, a popular Malaysian blogger, Project Space was designed as a spot for you and your friends to enjoy a good cuppa with cakes. It's been a popular choice for college students in the area who are in need of a space to chill out. The coffee served here uses Artisan coffee beans, and for those who prefer something without caffeine, there's always their Red Latte (RM12) - a latte with tea instead of coffee, also a non-caffeinated drink at Project Space. Don't miss their Cookie Caramel cake or their Hoji Matcha ice cream (RM11) while you sit back with a good book!
Located in a quieter area of Bandar Sunway just a stone's throw away from A Pie Thing, Map's is the perfect place for family gatherings and friends of 4 or more as they can accommodate groups. They have revamped their menu, which now features more items including weekday breakfast sets and more varieties of cakes! For something comforting, go for their Herbed Cream Porkballs Pasta, or the Porkball Pilaf Rice (both RM17) served with a poached egg and salad. Don't miss out on their breakfast promo on weekdays (RM9.90 per set) available from 10am till noon for a good start to your day!
