This place is situated in front of a temple, thus the shop name! What so special abt this place is that, you see those poles? That's where the different drinks come from! Isn't it really cool! I wonder how they stall the drinks in there. I decided to try their black tea. It was rich in taste, an old school taste. The sweetness was just right and it was really cold! The weather in hualien was really too hot and any cold really caught my attention and I just whack it. This is definitely somewhere I will recommend if you're in hualien! ☕️

I saw this recommendation on the website while I was searching for things to eat/do in Hualien. Now I see that the delicacy product in hualien is actually their sweet potato, and organic somemore. I simply adore this soft serve, especially the biscuit which tasted strong of the purple sweet potato. However the soft serve on the other hand could have been better, or I should have just orders the full purple potato flavour, it might have been better. But overall, the soft serve is really soft and the serving was huge yet the price is really cheap! Another good icy stuff to combat the heat! 🙅🌞👍

In laymen term, it's like our ice kachang in Singapore. The weather reached up to around 32-33 degrees in Hualien that day, and I'm so glad we came to this place. It's like a flat bowl of ice kachang, drizzled with condensed milk and caramel sauce. The fillings include items like sweet potato, green tea tangyuan, sesame, and etc. Surprisingly, the overall taste wasn't too sweet and each mouth seems more delish as it goes. PURFECT bowl of dessert to cure the heat ✌️👍

This is a famous delicacy in Hualien, Taiwan. It looks very alike to our wanton in Singapore, but it does taste different. It's wrapped with minced pork. But the fillings inside just tasted different. It's very tender, good marination and after each one makes me yearn for the next dumpling. The soup is very clear and light with some minced celery bits. This is perfect when you don't want a heavy meal in the hot scorching weather.
