Succulent lobster meat that goes springy under your molar! Ask for a slightly more gravy to make the dish more dewy. The sauce is lovely executed, even taste and marry well with the fresh lobster chunks. $42/100g. Each live lobster can goes up to 1kg, so check with the kitchen for the size prior to order to suit your budget. I had a 1.1kg of Australian king lobster here. A whopping $450+/-. Definitely a splurge but worthy.
The minced pork was very gooey, we opted out from the dried shrimps but still, it tasted good. $40.
Very generous but was slightly more starchy
The chili crab is somewhat sweeter than I expected. I wanted a fiery note in that egg gravy but was disappointed. The crab meat has lost its shine, it didn't taste succulent now.
This fares better than the sweet chili crab
We had the 8-pax menu and it started off with a generous plate of mixed seafood/meat platter which were all tasty and delicious.
Rejuvenating .. It takes a while to get to prepare and serve, please be patient. I heart the scent of the osmanthus in the soup, if the osmanthus cake dessert is not enough to satiate.
Full of kick as usual, the herbal element is of great intensity! Throat soothing moment.
The Sheng Mian is stewed to perfect degree of softness, retaining a bit of chewiness in each strands. The gravy is super duper delicious although the lightly fried lobster meat taste succulent, it has gone slightly tough. Mop up the gravy with the lobster meat to rekindle its flavor.
Baked cod in miso paste. Moist fillet with a taste of miso engulfing it's surface, nice.
These Siew Mai tasted a lot better than the teochew dumplings in comparison. Very juicy with a strong mushroom flavor at first bite. Thumbs up.
The translucent skin is a tad too thick and chewy for my liking, the filling is generous with a baby abalone stuck in it. I will skip this though.
