SG Brunch
Last weekend’s brunch at Little Farms’s newest myVillage dining outlet was a hearty affair! We had the:
~Aussie ($28)
~Rump Steak & Eggs ($26)
~Serangoon Slaw / Dirty Rice
~Muscovado Carrot Cake ($12)
~Pistachio Raspberry Rose Cake ($15)
The Aussie is a good solid big breakfast made up of the usual suspects like eggs, beans, portobello, tomato, sausage, bacon (this was really good though, thickly cut and so crispy!) and sourdough. The Rump Steak & Eggs was also executed well; we liked that the steak was well-seasoned and had a nice flavour although texture-wise it wasn’t the most tender. We paired these with a couple of sides - Serangoon Slaw and Dirty Rice. The former had a nice citrusy touch to it, while the latter was nicely flavoured with Latin spices. We ended our meal with a couple of cakes, where the Muscovado Carrot Cake stood out best with its moistness and nutty crunch.
This place is pet-friendly too, so you can bring along your furry cuties when you dine here. After your meal, you can also check out their grocery store for fresh produce!
Pint & Dine, a cafe previously located at Kensington Square, has relocated to Springside Walk (few bus stops away from Springleaf MRT Station). The food served here is mainly Korean-Western Fusion, and we recently tried some items during a recent visit:
~Drunken Seafood Soup (This was so good! It’s a seafood soup with a good amount of prawns, clams, mussels and squid cooked in rose wine. The broth, which was was the star of the show, was light but really aromatic and flavourful! This is served together with a bowl of rice. Highly recommended!)
~Bulgogi Carbonara (While we felt that the components were done well separately, we weren’t sure if the sweet bulgogi paired perfectly with the creamy pasta. Good choice though if you’re craving both!)
~Korean Fried Chicken - Yangnyeom & Soy Garlic (These KFC were pretty good, and we preferred the Yangnyeom flavour, which was sweet and mildly spicy!)
~Gimmari (These deep fried seaweed rolls stuffed with japchae were easily our favourite appetiser! So crispy and addictive! Goes really well with the sauce on the side too!)
~Cotton Candy Latte & Yuzu Soda (IG-worthy drinks to have with your meal! The refreshing drinks weren’t too sweet either!)
Eggslut has partnered up with Veuve
Clicquot, for guests to enjoy their sandwich paired with a glass of champagne! Available till this Sunday only, each glass is priced at only $18! Don’t miss out on this eggsquisite pairing!
Now let’s talk about the food! Ngl, I was high-key excited since the hype surrounding this place is still going strong, and the food here certainly was worth all that buzz! Just gonna cut to the chase here and recommend (out of the dishes we had) ordering the Fairfax Sandwich (The scrambled eggs were so fluffy & creamy! Love the buttery brioche bun too!), Slut (Love the crispy and creamy combination of having the baguette dipping into the glass jar of potato purée and eggs) and Truffle Hashbrowns (Potentially the best hashbrowns I ever had!)!

My favourites are the sweet & savoury PB & J Sarnie, and the Smoked Salmon with Truffled Scramble and Roe, which has perfectly-cooked creamy scrambled eggs with truffle oil and adorned generously with Norwegian smoked salmon and tobiko that will complete that 'Instagram-ready' brunch shot.
With its high ceilings and laid-back ambience, this is certainly a relaxing place to have brunch at or to chill out with your friends.
Been wanting to visit The Brewing Ground ever since I saw numerous positive reviews on their Breakfast Burger, and I must say I wasn’t disappointed after trying it! It really lives up to its name with its breakfast must-haves, from its well-toasted brioche bun to the soft and fluffy scrambled eggs, and the savoury sausage patty (my dining companion found it a tad salty though). What really made the burger a standout brunch dish were the toppings of caramelised onions, cheddar and ketchup-mayo that really worked harmoniously together! We liked the hash brown on the side too; so crispy and not too oily!
The signature pancake was crispy on the outside yet warm, soft and fluffy on the inside. Served with caramelised bananas and house-made butterscotch & honey comb ice cream, this will certainly sweeten up your day.

White wine infused creamy mushrooms served on toasted sourdough with freshly grated parmesan cheese. I recommend adding scrambled eggs for an additional $3. Everything came together perfectly!

The popular pancake cafe from Osaka has opened their 2nd branch in Singapore at 100AM and i’m glad to say their pancakes were as soft and fluffy as ever.
The ingenious combination of rich hokkaido cream and slightly sourish mango chunks along with those stacks of fluffy millefeuille pancakes made for a delightful and fulfilling meal.
Finally visited Brawn & Brains Coffee after saving it on my Burpple wish list for so long; and i must say I was impressed with their signature item.
The Oven Baked Molten Eggs was so good; blanket of melted cheese atop baked eggs and tortilla (they also served toasted bread on the side so you can soak up all the eggy goodness!), paired with perfectly sliced avocados, salmon rolls, fresh cherry tomatoes and greens. I’ll definitely be back to have it again real soon.
Trying their pancakes for brunch on my 1st visit here. The pancakes are very fluffy, complimented by the bananas, strawberries & warm maple syrup.
Brunch is always a good idea, especially at a place with such a great ambience. We enjoyed our eggs benedict & the milkshakes.
