Desert
These ang ku kueh come in many flavours and they are very generous with the fillings! The skin isn't too thick and I love the peanut one the most.
Essentially a creamy, pillowy smother, with wet and pleasurable shocks of tart, alcoholic cherry electricity. 3.8/5
If you enjoy coffee, this is another great way to indulge in it. The coffee flavour was more intense than I'd thought it would be, with the frosting having the most saturation. Holding its own very well was the cake itself - a rich dark chocolate with a dash of coffee in it. Together, they're simply sublime.
TGIF Dessert! Pandan Gula Melaka Cake! 😋
Been looking forward to this for a while now, yay! Finally got to try a variety of sweets with the family today, and verdict: we love the incredibly thin and creamy smooth layers of the classic Mille Crepes, yummy! Skip the Mont Blanc though, way too sweet and just bleh. Tip: Beat the queue and order takeaways, bring the box down to XinWang HK Cafe and have your cakes with a cuppa HK milk tea instead ;)
