Went around Temple Street first before finally deciding where to have dinner. Hing kee was hard to miss as it had several branches on Temple Street alone. This dish doesn't look appetizing, but you have to take my word for it. It is gooood! The pork almost tastes like our Pinoy tocino, only milder. The dish only gets better once you mix in the special soy sauce, chili and ground black pepper. This is a winner for me.
This french toast is soooo good it brought me to a happy place! ;) Sweet, chewy, crispy, creamy and buttery goodness!
A bit strong for my liking but still good...
Hong Kong's famous drink---coffee, tea and milk mixed in one cup. One cup ruined milk tea for me forever. I won't enjoy milk teas the way I did ever again. I will always look for that distinctive taste that is yin-yang..
I loved the contrasting flavors the filling offered.
We were too full to fully appreciate this dish. It's a meal on it's own, pinoys would love the rice as well as the pork filling.
Good dumpling but unremarkable. ;)
Succulent shrimp encased in a translucent, chewy wrap. Biting into it is an experience in itself. I went to dumpling heaven right away!
One of my fave snack is lumpia or spring roll. This one did not disappoint. Not too greasy and definitely not soggy!
Very unlike the Vietnamese ice rolls. This one had a chewy and springy texture that I think I like better than it's vietnese counterpart.
I want more!!!
