Breakfast Brunch

A hearty breakfast with good coffee! Portions were really huge, barely could finish it. At $16 (for the food), it's pretty value for money.

The Hollandaise Salmon. Roasted salmon fillet is topped with a creamy tart hollandaise sauce, and served with baked potato wedges and mixed salad.

Nice and simple 😃

One of the more "modern" dishes available in this nostalgic-themed cafe. Scrambled egg were runny though lacked seasoning, while the chicken franks were a bit too salty. Appreciated that they used pillowy soft bread for their toast, which is toasted to crisp on the exterior though only comes with butter inside.

All day breakfast and roast chicken sandwich with truffles fries

Most of the food here seems to be priced well below that of many cafés. Which makes it a nice place to hang out at with friends if you're watching your spending. This plate of 3 thick pancakes cost $6 and was of average taste and quality. The coffee's good though and the friendly service would make anyone feel welcome.

Softly chunky but not too liquidy is how I'd describe the eggs. And the sprinkle of salt in there manages to excite my palette just that bit more. The Norwegian smoked salmon is fine but it's the small touches by the chef, such as the melted cheese on a tomato half and toasted ciabatta instead of mundane bread slices, that make me a happy customer.

I still find it hard to believe that this costs only $11.50 nett. Going by the moniker "The Ultimate Combo", it's an all-day breakfast item that includes a double dose of pancake, egg, pork bacon and chicken chipolata sausage. Admittedly, the pancakes can't compete with Strictly Pancakes'. Nevertheless this is worth a try for those with big appetites.

Their latest offering on the food menu. The tortilla wraps were grilled with their panini grill; thin and crisp, with onions, vegetables and fresh, thick cuts of smoked salmon served. What makes this really interesting is the wasabi mayo that they are not shy with; it invokes a small degree of numbness which wasn't too intrusive but not too forgiving as well. A great and different sort of breakfast.

Away from the crowd. Somewhere to relax and have a great breakfast or brunch during the weekend.
