Priced at $4, it was pretty good but slightly too sweet for me. Need to request for siu dai🤣.
Situated along a relatively quiet stretch on 233 Joo Chiat Road, Ky Anh Quan is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that offers a diverse selection of specialities to choose from. Pho, Bun Cha, Banh Mi, Banh Xeo, Oc (Sea Snails), you name it.

Helmed and patronised mostly by Vietnamese nationals, you know the idea of disappointment is definitely not in the dictionary. The food may not be on par to the ones I had in Vietnam🇻🇳, but they certainly can satisfy your cravings!

P.S. Let me know in the comments below if you’ve any recommendations for Vietnamese fare.

Mixed platter of snails and clams. The portion is quite big, good for sharing.
This platter of mixed clams and snails is a very authentic Viet street food. It’s very fulfilling for the price!
Mình nhớ là có ốc bươu, ốc len, nghêu, sò điệp, ốc gạo nấu theo nhiều kiểu khác nhau. Khá ngon.
These were priced at $8 each, which is roughly the same for a main course at this vietnamese diner. However, it did not disappoint in freshness or taste.

It was a much bigger bowl than the one I had today. Then, being a noob, I had to watch to learn what other folks actually did with the mint leaves, cut chilli and bean sprouts that came with the bowl of rice noodles.
