Pretty addictive, not too spicy (the numbing feeling takes a while to kick in) and thankfully not drowned in chili oil like so many mala places.
Saw a loooong queue and just joined it. The reason for that queue was this new mala stall that just opened near Lavender MRT! Sadly by the time we got to order, most of the items I wanted like the Beef Tripe ($9.50) and Duck Wings ($4.50) were sold out. 🌶
Bought some back to office to try and and the conclusion is that the rest is still pretty shiok! Not directly in your face, you get more salty, juicy upfront then the heat hits you after. Spicy but hard not to fall in love with it. The Oyster Mushrooms ($4) in particular soaked up the flavours extremely well! Will avoid the feet next time as cold feet (hurrhurr) generally ends up tougher than I'd prefer.
As part of their opening offer, everything was 50% off! Not sure when it'll last until but was pretty worth it with the promotion! 😝
