Pretty yummy and cute little rice set that comes with ayam bumbu rujak (curry chicken that was really fragrant and rich in flavour), bergedil (delightful potato patty that was crisp on the outside and mushy soft on the inside), potato peanut, pickles (decent achar though could be better), kerupuk and sambal terasi (was truly very very spicy)! Comes with a small mountain of yellow turmeric rice that was cutely topped with a little pandan leaf cap ππ Pretty satisfying set that is even more value with eatigoβs 50%! ππ»ππ»
A celebratory dish, this is a mini version of the traditional Nasi Tumpeng. It is nevertheless a delicious and filling meal, as the mound of yellow rice is surrounded by several types of mouthwatering side dishes, from prawn crackers, achar, perkedel (bergedil aka potato patties), and other goodies. Try it out at least once!
The chef obviously showed no mercy with his condiments and spices-- fried rice ($16.80++) very oily, acar ($3.80++) super sour, prawns ($17.80++) overcooked, ikan bakar kecap ($24.80++) sweet and salty!!! However, the urap urap (mixed vegetables $4.80++) was miraculously t.a.s.t.e.l.e.s.s! π

Nasi Timbel (S$13.80++)
Banana-leaf wrapped rice with fried chicken, tofu, tempe, salted fish and vegetable soup
The chicken π was quite tender and moist even when it looked dry and crispy. The chilli paste was yummy spicy. Love π the crispy bits.

Tahu Goreng is very tasty too!
Really missed the Satay from IndoChilli From Savourworld! Experienced authentic indonesia dishes prepared by the chef from IndoChilli! Never have i tried something so unique and different before! Spicy ness of the dishes are not overwhelming! Taste was acceptable to me and there's a mixed varieties, ranging from sweet to savoury found in the dishes! Indochilli was really a great recommendation for those foodies that wanted to experience authentic Indonesian food!
.
My Favourite will be this Satay which was kinda sweet but at the same time more towards being savoury which balanced out the taste without losing the taste of originality! Super tender as well! Love it!
