Craving for something soupy in rainy days? Gu Thai is the place to go! Love the combination of Tung Hoon with Tom Yum. Their Tom Yum is not overly spicy, but I still prefer my tomyum to be a little more creamy/milky 😅

Love their strong herbal broth that complemented the slightly chewy rice noodles 😋. Pro-tip: Order the non-spicy version first so that you can taste the original tasty broth. After-which, add your desired amount of dried chilli powder to adjust the spiciness.

Chose the rice noodle and i love the chewiness of it! Beef slices weren’t too tough as well. The soup base was on the stronger tasting side.

Gu Thai Noodle Cafe offers really good Thai boat noodles and other dishes! I had the pork thai boat noodles ($7.50) & my friend had the pork belly noodles ($8.50). We also shared a prawn omelette ($6)! For both noodles, you get the choose between 5 types of noodles (get the rice noodles!) & also the level of spiciness. The soup might be a bit too strong for some people but the flavour is definitely there!
