[BISHAN, SINGAPORE] If you are living around the area and you need a good solid Thai food fix, @galangal.sg is an amazing option. Big portions and quality food is what you will get 😍

We had many dishes, but the one that stuck with me most is their Thai Prawn Cakes 🦐($10.90 for 5). These prawn cakes were hefty and meaty and fried really well! It didn't feel too oily and it was so aromatic.

Their Clear Tom Yum Soup Seafood 🦑($17.90) is also a must get, due to its spicy kick and aromatic seafood sweetness. It was packed with loads of seafood which were really fresh! Do get their Honey Garlic Fried Chicken 🐔 ($16.90) too, as it was really well executed, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior.

As for carbs, both their Pineapple Fried Rice 🍍($15.90) and Prawn Pad Thai 🦐 ($15.90) were great choices, as the former had a slight smoky flavour and was flavourful, while the latter was still al dente with a spicy tangy flavour! Definitely executed well too.

You can't miss their desserts here as well, as their Thai Grilled Pineapple with Ice Cream 🍍🍨($12.90) was so unique! The pineapple was sweet, juicy and just slightly savoury. Paired well with the ice cream hehe.

Now this is an option to consider if you stay nearby! All portions ordered were upsized ones, and it was worth it given the price charged. Thank you @galangal.sg for the invite!

-Mango Salad: This is a MUST ORDER! This appetiser took us by surprise. It is my number 1 recommended dish item t o get! Super appetising crunchy mango salad that is topped with crispy fried sliced codfish too!

-Prawn Cake: My number 1 favourite appetiser to get at all Thai places! Super love this chunky prawn cake!

-Thai Fish Cake: This tasted quite like an otah to us!

-Honey Garlic Fried Chicken: Woah, t his is another MUST order! Best to eat it while hot! Crispy juicy chicken with sweet honey garlic sauce!

-Fried Fish with Sweet and Sour Sauce: Deep-fried seabass drizzled with tangy sweet & sour sauce! Fish was crispy!

-Fried Tofu with Homemade Sweet Chilli Sauce
-Red Tom Yum Soup (Seafood): Super flavourful and spicy sour with fresh seafood like clams, squid, prawns and shimeji mushrooms!

-Omelette Prawn: Egg omelettes are a must get in thai restaurant! Crispy edges with fluffy egg!

-Stir Fried Kang Kong with Sambal: A must get veg items at all thai/tzechar place!

-Pineapple Fried Rice: Very aromatic!

-Phad Thai with Prawn: Springy fresh prawns!

-Mango Sticky Rice: Mangoes were fresh and sweet! The sticky rice is also steamed hot prior to serving!

Be prepared to be wow-ed by their aesthetic pink flower covered wall and be wow-ed by your taste buds for their authentic delicious Thai food here!

Crispy Fish w Thai Chilli Sauce (S$32.90) is not for the weak 🔥 it’s really spicy but shiok and crunchy! 😂

Pineapple rice ($12.90) have more than 5 prawns inside - served hot and fragrant with fresh pineapple bits 🍍

Green mango salad ($6.90) came like a mountain worth ⛰️‼️ big portions and refreshing ✨

🍵Thai Green Milk Tea ($6.50)
One of the best thai green milk teas I’ve had, it’s rich in flavour and not too sweet.

🥛Melt My Heart Mini Milkshake ($9.90)
Great for milkshake lovers though it is a little sweet if the ice cream melts into it.

🍌Banana Choco Frappe ($9.90)
So good! Must try, the banana and chocolate blend perfectly with the coffee element.

💙Blue Lagoon Iced Latte ($8.90)
This tastes a bit more vanilla, its a little more average in flavour but is still delicious.
