This is only $2 and I get a nicely brewed sweet concoction of all these textures!

The tender sago, juicy longan, crunchy sea coconut, chewy fungus, mushy ginko

Yum yum.

The red date and brown sugar base is so yummy an afternoon refreshment!

When dining at Hong Lim Food Centre, always keep this bowl of ice cold dessert in mind! Not only is this a good option to bring down the body temperature, it’s a bowl of dessert that’s chock full of ingredients! I love chewing on the dried persimmon and the candied wintermelon bits. Other ingredients added include dried longans, barley, ginko nuts and white fungus. If the ice cubes were replaced by shaved ice, this dish would be perfect!
