Drury Lane ups their game by moving beyond run-of-the-mill brunch items and their new main courses. The balsamic and beer-braised beef ($20) is pretty tender and it's a hefty portion. I think half of this would suffice for me! But it's the truffle quinoa risotto that stole the show, and I'd easily give up a quarter of the meat for more risotto. =D I loved the smoked trout croissant with avocado, mushrooms and herbed cream cheese ($12, and pretty darn hearty) as well as the sweet corn fritters with brown butter scrambled eggs, herbed yoghurt, avocado and smoked trout ($18). With the new menu, Drury Lane seems like a more affordable and down-to-earth version of The Lokal.
