Previously located in Shaw tower, ah loy Thai have shifted to its new current location, along the streets of Bugis.

Upon entering, you are unknowing transported to a humble Thai shop. Where they served simple yet comfort Thai food. One of highlight dishes was the omelette. It was huge. It could even cover my entire face. Although it may seem a bit oily, but it had a strong wok flavour to it. The Kang Kong had the extra crunchy texture with added spiciness.

However the pha Thai did not fair well as it was lacking in flavour. It could be also why everybody around me was ordering pineapple rice instead.

Overall, I had an enjoyable time without making a hole in my wallet at ah Loy Thai. I definitely will be back to try more of their menu.
