Price: $14.50. Would visit Montana again for this. 'Waffles on crack' - this was our final verdict. 'Layered' was the word that came to me when I first bit into this. These red velvet waffles were amazingly well layered with the different layers complementing each other perfectly. First there was the sweet and pleasing rose smell that pervaded my senses. Then there was the sweet caramelized rose taste that arrested my taste buds -- the sweetness was so amazingly well balanced. It was sweet without being excessively so; the sweetness was also not the run-of-the-mill raw sugar sweet, but rather it had a certain rose-vanilla layer to it. After this sweetness came the very slight and very comfortable salty taste. This saltiness did not stay at all but rather it was a passing taste. It flashed past without me knowing. But as it flashes past, one would almost instantly wish that it would last a little longer. And finally, the taste comes full circle, and I was finally left with the pleasant rose-vanilla aftertaste that was sweet to a balanced degree. The waffles were also amazing texture-wise -- they were fluffy on the inside but firm and appropriately crisp on the outside. Oh and before I fail to mention, the ice cream by itself was also 😍 and I would dare say put quite a few ice cream shops to shame. Overall it was amazing. The only thing I was confused about was that they only gave three triangles worth of waffles... So what happened to the last triangle?? But this is of course a point that should not distract us from ravenously digging in to these red velvet waffles.
