Benns Ethicoa and The Brass Lion Distillery have come together to craft this elegantly designed box ($28) of locally crafted gin-filled bons bons. The chocolates are not only asthetically beautiful but with three different types, each piece tempted the taste buds that embraced our Southeast Asian tropical flavours.

Featuring the White Pea, the Milk Juniper and the Dark Pahit, the white bons bons were lighter and most refreshing out of the trio with butterfly pea gin and hints of earl grey and lavender blending well together. My favourite was the dark with its gin being the most evident with a balance of bitter-sweet from the dark chocolate, lemon caramel and candied orange peel.
