This dish promised top grade MS9 Wagyu beef which was braised in a red wine demi-glace sauce. Interestingly, this was served with only one sheet of pasta. Called a โ€˜lasagnotteโ€™, the massive pasta sheet was cooked al dente.

Now the Wagyu beef was tender and deliciously fattier compared to the beef in their beef ragu with its flavours well infused into the sauce. The assorted mushrooms that were stewed in the sauce added a firm bite, texture, and umami that we enjoyed! The lasagnotte is a huge sheet and we wish there was more sauce to coat it. Some might find the texture as unvarying throughout the meal, so it may be a good idea to get this and a different pasta type to share โ˜บ๏ธ
