They have a variety of toppings, a la the China Whampoa brand. What I chose is like Fuzhou balls but meat. Tbh, I struggle to appreciate this style of ban mian. It feels Malaysian, with the liberal use of soy sauce. It's different but not better. In my opinion, ban mian is one of those foods whose difference in standard is very narrow. You get an acceptable bowl anywhere and the famous brands are underwhelming. Here the soup was like egg drop soup, but overly starchy for some reason.
