"Singapore Style Ramen" ($7.20 - Medium). -
In a short phrase, this lived up to its hype!
From the way it was prepared, a lot of detail is put into this bowl of ba chor mee with the chefs going through a step by step process of adding all the ingredients and garnishing. What's special has to be the sauce which is slightly sweet compared to normal BCMs and a dash of seaweed seasoning which gives it a whiff of furikake-taste. 3 slices of pork were dipped in a teriyaki-ish sauce which was flavorful.
I also enjoyed the pork broth that had a nice earthiness to it. All in all, a well balanced dish, albeit slightly pricey to its counterparts (in Amoy St Food Centre). I would definitely come again, once in a while. -
