Mei Yuen has been one of my favorite wanton mee haunts. Charred charsiew, crackling roasted pork and roasted duck with my springy noodles never fail to disappoint me.

Sitting on wobbly chairs in a very last century kopitiam really puts one in a nostalgic mood. The wear and tear through time is obvious. I cannot envisage how long more it is going to be here. One thing for sure, I will keep coming back for that plate of comforting noodles. Alittle bit on my part to support our local businesses during these trying times.
