I used to visit Anson in Perak, Malaysia frequently when I’m still a teenager, as one of my relatives used to live there.

After so many years, I’m glad I still can find this familiar dish in Singapore; thanks to Anson Town.

This place could easily filled up all the seats on weekend morning, as people coming here to enjoy their breakfast with some local delights.

Among all the items on their menu, this Anson style chee cheong fun definitely stands out for its unique offering in Singapore, which you won’t find it easily elsewhere.

It is a dry version of chee cheong fun, stuffed with turnips, sprinkled with sesame seeds and spring onions. Served with a side of green chilli.

If you never been to Anson town, then you would definitely want to come here to try this authentic local style of chee cheong fun.
