Opened by the guys behind Grub, Fix and Grub Noodle Bar, the new restaurant at HomeTeamNS-JOM Balestier serves a variety of grilled skewers and delicious mains. I am honoured to be photographing their food before the launch and also had a taste of some of the items.
They have a range of grilled prawn, chicken, lamb and mushroom skewers. Surprisingly, I really love the vegetarian Primavera Pasta, featuring tagliatelle tossed in pesto cream, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, arugula, mushroom and feta. The homemade lasagne, hokkaido scallops quinoa and roast chicken are great too. They also have a wide range of homemade drinks, my favourites include lychee earl grey; ginger and lime; pineapple and passionfruit.
