For my Hong Kong trip this time, I decided to venture out from the buzzing city area to this quiet neighbourhood. Sai Kung is not connected by any train station, which you need to take the minibus or public bus from nearest MRT station, which would usually take about 1 hour to reach here.
Yet it doesn’t stop many Hong Kong people to come here for sweet escape over the weekend.
There’s so many things to explore and enjoy here, so my first meal at this town is my breakfast with some porridge from this place called the 金山粥店.
One thing interesting about this shop is that they located at the older estate which can only reach by going around the narrow street in between houses. But with Google Maps, it should be able to navigate easily.
Love this small porridge shop vibe here selling different types of porridges. Their youtiao and rice roll are also popular among the locals.
