I’d recently reactivated my Burpple Beyond membership and the first place I visited and used my 1-for-1 main dish deal on was Knock Knock Cafe, which I’ve been seeing on social media recently. The ambience here is indeed quite IG-worthy, but most importantly how’s their food? Here’s what we had:

~Beer Battered Mentaiko Fish & Chips ($18)
~Tiger Prawn ‘Hei Bi Hiam’ Aglio Olio ($17)
~Iced Caramel Latte ($6.50)

I thought the Beer Battered Mentaiko Fish & Chips (which I had) was pretty decent overall, the fish was nicely crisp and pretty tender, pairing well with the mentaiko sauce, while the fries (kinda reminded me of Long John Silver’s one) were nice too! As for the Tiger Prawn ‘Hei Bi Hiam’ Aglio Olio which my friend had, the portion was unfortunately small, but the hei bi hiam was quite crispy and added a nice, smokey ummai flavour to the pasta. My friend also had the caramel latte that comes with a little frozen bear! A nice caffeine fix after a heavy meal and the caramel wasn’t too sweet.
