Right off the bat, Tomidou exudes a premium atmosphere with the customers' comfort at heart. The service personnel was professional and engaging from start to end, being quick with their service and knowledgable with the items on the menu. The sushi was fresh and masterfully crafted by Chef Akira-san, with a perfect balance of flavours. The rice was fragrant, sweet, and fluffy, and held itself well in the sushi. My favourite dish was their mini chirashi, consisting of hairy crab, ikura, shima ebi, 2 types of uni, and ishigaki gai. The freshness of the seafood exhibited itself in the movement of the ishigaki gai when lime juice was added, accompanied by the sweetness of the flesh. The mini chirashi also came with freshly charcoal grilled shima ebi shell which still had its roe. It was a crispy and reminded me of the sea, a first for me! Overall, it was a pleasant and delightful experience!
