If you're familiar with the bar @bittersandlove, there's a new concept within the same premises offering coffee, breakfast, lunch and takeaways.

It's called @free.the.robot and it just opened today (24 Nov)! I had a pleasant cup of Woolloomooloo blend latte ($5) as well as breakfast - homemade beef meatballs cushioned by a bed of fragrant jasmine rice, $11.

One bite of the beef meatballs, you can definitely tell that it's homemade. They had a nice meaty grit and they crumble in your mouth which isn't present in processed meatballs. The rice was slightly wet which made it easy to go down. Overall, it was simple comfort food that I could keep coming back for.
