Something unusual for buttermilk pairing — smoked beef 🥴

Buttermilk Smoked Beef Rice; crispy exterior and tender beef, with sweet buttermilk sauce with a kick of spice 😮‍💨 served with rice, keropok, salad and soup.

I like it, the crispy exterior do make you remind of how buttermilk used to paired with fried chicken or batter fried squid/prawn — sense of familiarity. But it’s beef instead. You can’t go far off with buttermilk sauce and I do like the mellow sweetness with a kick of spiciness.
