Kicked off our day trip by getting my favourite banana cake 🍌 from Hiap Joo Bakery. We then headed to the Mount Austin district where we spent the arvo checking out 3 places. Last stop of the day saw us going for a hearty shabu shabu meal and fulfilling @traditionalfoodhero's craving for hot pot! 🥘 .

Also managed to pop by the new R&F Mall where I got my brown sugar boba fix from The Alley (no queue ftw!! ✌) Speaking of that, I drank 3 milk teas - including a boba tea with Pokemon-inspired pearls! - and 2 matcha drinks today 😆 So ya, if you can't reach me, that's because I've OD-ed on bubble tea 😂😂😂 .
