Max’s is known for their chicken, but I opted for one of their all-day breakfast dishes, Bangsilog ($12.80++).
insert any meat here> + silog is one of the breakfast staples in PH consisting of the chosen meat, fried rice (“si”), and fried egg (“log”). The ordered dish had marinated boneless milkfish (bangus) fried to golden color. I loved the fish, though note that I am super biased with milkfish. I always had it when I was young, but getting it here in SG is quite difficult, specially having it boneless. Garlic fried rice is normal, egg is too dry. Would be happier to have a fluffier scrambled egg and better sliced tomatoes 😅
Nonetheless, will come back and still order the same (for the love of milkfish)
