Those who are familiar with Ipoh would have heard of the silky smooth douhua from Funny Mountain. Woong Kee is just as good, if not better. I prefer mine with white sugar. That is how it is usually served in Ipoh. The sweetness is very subtle which is perfect when combined with the silky smooth douhua.

The owner of the stall in Singapore is a relative of Woong Kee and the quality is therefore similar. It is authentic, ideal for those who are missing Ipoh tau foo fah. Even if you are not from Ipoh, you would still appreciate the taste and texture of Woong Kee’s douhua.
