Decided to order 2 chicken wings to make the queuing more worth it! So Glad they didnβt disappoint at all and I must say the auntie gave quite a generous portion of Bee Hoonβ¦ Their chilli stood out for me too.
Regularly mentioned as having among the best fried chicken wings around, which the Singapore Prime Minister even queued for; this humble stall was established in 1989, and also offers a good range of economical dishes.
.
Their chicken wings are sourced from Brazil, with quality checks to ensure pieces are large and chunky. It's marinated for up to 6 hours in a house blend of oyster sauce, light soy sauce, salt, white pepper, and other secret ingredients, then coated in a light batter of rice flour and water.
.
The deep-frying is temperature controlled, with each piece fried for 7 or 8 minutes, resulting in an even golden brown colour.
.
Incredibly fragrant, with a light crispy crunch to the chicken skin, and warm juicy tender chicken meat, having robust meaty savoury spice salty flavour with the marinade infused. It's not overly greasy, yum.

Fried Beehoon with Crispy and Juicy Fried Chicken Wings, one of the best.
Location: Eng Kee Chicken Wings, 117 Commonwealth Dr, #01-711, Singapore 140117
Made a trip down to try Eng Kee Chicken Wings at Commonwealth area! The beehoon/kway teow but the star of the show is definitely the chicken wings! Fried to perfection and very well marinated
This is a comfort breakfast food for me, with sunny side up and otah. Most importantly veggie-haters can rejoice, because the bee hoon and noodle are free from taugeh. I love the chicken wings too, fragrant and crispy!
